HISTORY
Home to the renowned Kasteelberg Country Inn for almost two decades, this characterful building has been sensitively restored and upgraded to make the most of its position and architectural heritage.
The professional development team have developed a modern, functional space which complements the historic charm of the village, while paying homage to the legacy of Kasteelberg Country Inn, and the unique architectural design style of the Swartland.
The main building is now home to a range of retail delights and a set of short-stay studio rooms, while work on the four new townhouses at the back of the property will start shortly.
Kasteelberg was sold to Mark Tame and his business partner and attorney, Elana Hopkins. Mark is no stranger to the Riebeek Valley and has recently acquired another property in Riebeek Kasteel where he will be building his own home.
Mark’s company, Percipient Property Solutions, will handle the renovation of the main building, the construction and sale of the four townhouses, and the ongoing management of the completed Kasteelberg Place development.
